My favorite Location would have to be Anor Londo, Sunny Version.
It's a good Grinding spot too.

I've seen this build before. I've also seen this Build in a video about defeating a fake 'SUPER SECRET BOSS'. Specifically the Old Iron King Reborn or something.

I remembered this thread exists so I'm going to log my progress here. If you don't know Resis roped me into playing this game, I like it so far. Anyways let's get to it.
I made my character a wanderer because I thought their armor looked the nicest and the scimitar looked cool. I named my character Meguca and tried my best to make them look like an anime character (it turned out pretty bad). Early game went without a hitch, it was pretty easy because I was careful. I didn't have much trouble on this first part of the game, I only died once from rolling off a cliff. This luck continued on to the undead burg, and I even killed "The Rock" by continually backstabbing him (took forever). I didn't bother with a shield yet, I just two handed my scimitar. The Taurus Demon was an easy battle, and I met the "Praise The Sun" guy. He seems pretty cool.
This is when things began to become a bit harder. My scimitar was in danger of breaking so I had to experiment with other weapons. Some weapons were good, some were bad. I absolutely hate the long sword and I can't fight anything with it. The spears were pretty meh, the range was good but too slow. The battle axe is trashy. The halberd though, the halberd is really great. The animation it has when you miss is terrible but it's damage and range is so good I don't care. So I continued onward, brandishing the halberd.
The undead parish was a little difficult but manageable. I started using a shield because I couldn't pretend to be Raiden with a halberd, unlike with the scimitar. I died a handful of times but it wasn't too bad. I managed to kill that metal boar or bull or something, and it felt good. There are some knight looking guys with big shields up there, and they caused me a few problems but I learned to just block with the shield and counter attack. Finally, I made my way to the nice old blacksmith (Berserk much?) and got my scimitar fixed. I even enchanted it. Things seemed to be looking up.
But unfortunately, the next area was where things began to fall apart. I didn't deal with the boss right outside of the blacksmith, I just ran past him every time. The plant guys didn't prove to be much of a problem, at least in the path that I was taking. But then, the game baited me with an item and it spawned three of the plant guys. one on one, they aren't tough, but I couldn't do anything when all three of them were attacking me. It took me a ton of deaths to figure out how I could bait them out one by one. once I figured that out, I thought things might get easier. But the soldier guarding the path to the boss proved to be a real challenge. They aren't that hard in hindsight, but it took me forever to figure out how to beat them.
I really liked the butterfly (Berserk much?), it was very pretty. I kind of felt bad that I was fighting it, it was very graceful. It took me about 5 tries but I finally took it down. I went back to the blacksmith and got my scimitar to +5, now it slices through enemies like butter. That's basically where I left off.
I've been upgrading vitality, endurance, and strength. I haven't been levelling up the other stats because I don't know if they're any good. Attunement seems pretty meh since I don't want to be a mage, my class has a good amount of dex already so I'm not worried about that stat, and I have no idea why I might need intelligence or faith. I figure resistance will become more important later on, but I haven't really fought mage characters yet. I'm just a smidgen away from the strength required to use the zweihander, and I'm really excited because it almost looks like Guts' sword.
uuuhhh yeah that's about it. This game is fun so far.

Dark Souls is basically Berserk: The Game, and that's a good thing. Anyways the scimmy is a scrubby weapon so destroy it immediately. Unfortunately since you upgraded it, it will probably deal more damage than the Zweihander unless you upgrade the Zwei as well. Anyways the monster next to the blacksmith is a mini-boss that only spawns once and drops precious stuff, but he's also one tanky motherfucker who can kill you in two hits. Since you did so well in the forest, why don't you take the alternate path down to the basin? Just at the start of the area after one plant guy there's a path to your right, try going there and heading down. You'll like what you see... Or you could just stop being a scrub and fight the Capra Demon already.

Zweihander is the most hella weapon ever. The damage of the two handed heavy attack is insane. I'm gonna try to use it for as long as I can, because it's basically Guts' sword from the golden age arc.
Anyways, I've beaten the Hydra, and I'm pretty lost. I've been wandering around this forest for an hour and I'm not sure what to do. This cat lady said some confusing things to me and I declined her? Was I supposed to do that? Am I supposed to go through the big shining door? That looks like a boss battle, so I want to know if there's a bonfire nearby. Maybe there's something obvious in that area but my brain is turning to mush. also the mushroom ewoks are adorable they are the best thing in the game so far.

Some bitches are next to the cat person and they will attack you unless you join her Covenant, which is protecting the forest from jewish nerds in search of Souls. If you join her Covenant the area becomes easier since most human opponents won't attack you, but if you attack a human enemy while in her Covenant you can't join it again unless you absolve your sins at a priest in the church.
Also there are no bonfires nearby the big ass shiny door, but there's a bonfire next to a locked, shiny gate, on the path you need to take to fight the Moonlight Buttefly. Unfortunately it's hidden so you'll have to figure it out you nerd.
btw there is a hidden path in the place with all the stone soldiers that leads to Guts's ring
