CHARACTER PROFILE
Name: Friday
Age: Assumed to be early 20s
Country of Birth: Unknown
Country of Residence: Formerly Britain
Languages Spoken: English, French, German, Mandarin, Spanish
Personality: Throughout his life, Friday has been taught never to question anything. Only believe. While he himself was capable of independent thought he never once questioned the actions of his Master. He would hide nothing from his Master and he will say only the truth even if it should lead to his punishment or not. When commanded, he will do absolutely anything, even if it was to take his own life.
To others, however, he can be best described as a scoundrel: while he may sound respectful and such, whether or not he tells the truth is entirely up to his whim. So long as something doesn't interfere with the order of a Master he will skirt the boundaries of acceptability. He doesn't hesitate to flirt with others so long as his Master is not present. He will flirt with everyone; even other males he would not hesitate to throw a pick-up line to from time to time.
While respectful in the presence of the master, Friday has a general idea of his own whims yet finds servitude to be somewhat exciting. He would not hesitate in his actions, often risking his life for the one he truly desires to serve for a long time.
History: Friday was not quite fond of talking about his past. After all, why would someone care about the truth behind a man who was lower than one's shadow, who would prostrate himself at a moment's notice?
The reason...was because there was something in his heart that moved him.
When he was younger, Friday was raised as a Butler from the Smith Society of Fine Hospitaliers, an organization that takes able-bodied orphans from the streets and abusive families to train as capable servants. Among them was a young boy named Friday, the child of a heroin addict abandoned in the hospital he was born into. With no name to call him, the nurses referred to him as 'Friday', the name given to him to denote the day of his birth. Nestled upon a crib meant for two, Friday wept for a mother to hold him, not the hands of the men in suits who whisked him away.
From an early age this fact had been broken to the young boy, who lived with very little and adopted a frugal life. He slept in a dormitory with countless other boys, forced to a strict regimen of exercise and service. He was often beaten for his mistakes, tardiness rewarded by the cane as his harsh lessons molded Friday into a man of esteem. When the Butlers were shown to the upper class he impressed many by his skill, his charm and seemingly cold sense of aloofness becoming the interest of many employers.
He cared for no one, serving only to please whomever he was bound to. In reality, he was nothing more than a slave. A skilled one yes, but forced to believe only in what his master desires and to do no more than such. Eventually picked among the handful of the Smith Society's finest, he had come to serve a small household, a rich businessman's home in Britain. He was tasked to watch over a young girl who suffered from a degenerative muscle disease.
At first Friday showed very little interest in the little Miss, but of all things, even against the will of his employer, Friday escorted the young Lady to a small flower garden, one that she knew about before her degenerative disease robbed her of her ability to walk. Even though his employer her Father forbade him to enter, he obeyed only the Young Mistress' words, eventually opening her heart to him. However his feelings were not of affection to her, causing great heart-ache to the sickly young lady as he would continue to serve her.
One fateful day, as her end drew near, she cried to him weakly to be brought to the Flower Garden once more before she would die. Even after his father arranged for bodyguards to ensure her visit to the hospital, with great force and disrespect to his employer he fought his way out and brought the ailing Miss to see the Flower Garden one last time. There, she confessed to him that she would rather die happy than to live miserably, alone and decaying for years in life support.
She forgave him for not reciprocating her wishes, instead asking...if he wanted to marry her. In her dying breath, Friday wept. For the first time, he allowed tears to leave his face as he wove a crown of flowers for her. Holding her frail and shaky hands, he vowed to marry her as she slowly closed her eyes, her life fading away with a gentle smile on her face. Left to lie on a tabernacle surrounded by the beautiful flowers of the Garden, Friday showed no resistance as he was taken away.
Disgraced and disowned even by the society that cared for him, Friday left without hesitation. He did not seek repentance, for his dedication to the Little Miss mattered above all else. Now without a Master, wearing only that Ring that belonged to the young girl he wanders as a master less servant, hoping to one day find the Little Miss in the heart of someone he would serve...forever.
Notable Skills: Friday is considered to be one of the finest butlers in this very earth. With a strong sense of duty and dedication to his Master, Friday ensures that every whim of his employer is sated and even eclipsed. He spares nothing for detail and will go through extreme lengths to please his Master. Friday is incredibly skilled in housework, cooking, cleaning, service and almost any task that is connected to maintenance. His loyalty is so great to any master that if they command him to take his life he would do so without hesitation. Proficient in many forms of combat, Friday's fighting style has an emphasis on neutralizing hostiles with swift and powerful kicks and punches to defeat and dispatch would-be assailants from hurting his master. His weapons specialty is diverse; but the main point in most is to use the item/weapon as a way to defend his host so his knowledge of such is limited. His obedience to his Master is strictly absolute.
Notable Weaknesses: His loyalty is often his very weakness: if his Master was to take a bullet, Friday would not hesitate to take the shot for them, completely ignoring all sense of survival for him. And unless commanded to fight by a Master, he would always revert to his own self-preservation otherwise and often avoid any kind of conflict. Without a master to take orders from, he can readily betray anyone if it meant to his benefit. Despite the unique caveat his stand offers him, he is often ill suited for direct confrontations.
Important Items: Bulletproof serving plate, apron, tea leaves set, cellphone
Appearance: Friday is a tall, slender young man with blue eyes. His short hair is white though its right side is notably shoulder-length, unlike its left. He wears a blue-and-black shirt that is vertically striped. Around the closed collar is a long, black necktie. Over Friday's shirt is a black coat that is predominantly closed, save for its bottom half, where it is also noticeably designed to slant more downward on the front rather than in the back. Around his left sleeve is a black cloth with several silver buckles attached to it. On Friday's right front, underneath his top three silver buttons, there is a patch with gray borders that is moreover attached to his left collar. As for the bottom three silver buttons, each one is attached to the other on the opposite side, with a black chain. Below Friday's waist, he wears blue-and-black pants that have a diamond pattern, which covers over his black heeled shoe. On his left, he wears a thigh-high black boot with a white cross pattern made on the front because of the strings. Lastly, he wears a pair of blue gloves. Friday has a blue spade tattooed on his left cheek below his left eye.
STAND PROFILE
Namesake: Another Stranger me
Real name: The second Friday
Ability: When Friday was still within his mother's womb, an oddity occurred: he was meant to be born with an identical brother. And when the delivery came, only one child came out. Multiple ultrasound pictures confirmed this, but upon delivery there was no sign of the second child. In fact, there wasn't even an umbilical cord or another baby within the womb. It was as if all traces of the second child vanished. But, the truth was simple: the twins merely merged together. One body, with two souls. An unexplained phenomenon, it is from here that Friday's stand is manifested.
The stand itself can speak, as Friday and his stand shares memories, personalities and objectives. Capable of becoming an independent being, the great amount of versatility that the stand affords allows Friday to work independently, whether it be doing two chores at once or cleaning. If manifested as an independent being, the stand itself appears exactly as Friday does, down to his current choice of clothing. When summoned as a Close-range or Remote stand, the stand takes on a different appearance as listed above.
The underlying ability of the stand is the ability to swap places with objects and human beings. When the stand touches something and the user or stand wills it, the object or person glows with a sign, the sign of a Spade that can only be seen by other fellow stand users. When the user recollects a Spade, he immediately changes places with that marked object or person. The swap is instantaneous. Friday can only have up to 3 Marks at any time, adding more would erase the most recent one. Stand users can rub off the mark to erase it, it can also be removed by being soaked in water or removed forcibly. The mark itself is as permanent as ordinary marker being written on the surface that was touched. When fighting at Close-range, he fights with the force and vitality of two people, granting him increased stamina, resistance and strength.
Bypassing this rule, Friday can always change places with his stand at any time without a mark, though this incurs a cool down limit of 5 posts or 1 hour in-game time.
Contrary to other Automatic or Remote stands, given Friday's link to his own stand, he actually suffers a portion of the damage his automatic stand would incur, the greater the damage the farther away he is. Up close the damage he takes will be a fraction of the damage his automatic stand received, at maximum distance it would be as if he took the full damage from the blow itself.
Type: Changes between Close-range, Remote and Automatic stand.
Power: C
Speed: B
Range: Varies

Appearance: As a close-ranged stand Another Stranger me appears in the same apparel as Friday wears, with the exception of the body being a checkered blue and white, with two Spade symbols for eyes.
