CHARACTER PROFILE
Name: Le Hai Sang (Sang)
Age: 23
Country of Birth: Vietnam
Country of Residence: United States
Languages Spoken: Vietnamese, English
Personality: Normally smart-aleckey and brash towards others, Sang carries within herself deep sadness for not being able to live in the country of her birth, as well as the racism and sexism she suffered and continues to suffer as a Vietnamese woman in America.
History: As the young girl whose family David protected from the bombing raid more than a decade and a half ago, Sang was raised in Amercia from the age of five, going to public school, learning English before studying to become a mathematician despite the stereotype of women not being able to do math.
Angry at the way she was treated with mockery and disdain, she became aloof and rebellious, wearing men's clothing, smoking, and cutting her hair short. However, as time went on, she found that more people were willing to accept her and help her than put down or try to exploit her- they just didn't know she needed help. She made several friends and mellowed out before gaining employment in an up-and-coming business, earning good pay.
Her Stand activated when she was out with a group of friends and thugs attacked them, killing her closest male friend. When the police arrived, the thugs had been beaten within an inch of their life, and Sang, who had broken down completely, was questioned before being released. In her friend's will, she received his record collection, which she still keeps. Six months later, still feeling somewhat hollow, she was 'recruited' by a man who went by the name of Rooke, with the promise of a massive sum- over $100,000!. Now in Bangkok, she wonders why she was called to aid this man, and what David has to do with all of this.
Notable Skills: Le Hai has an extraordinary memory, and is an excellent number-cruncher and logician. She knows how to drive excellently as well, being the best driver of the E1 team. She is deceptively resilient and knows how to handle herself in most situations fairly well, even though she prefers not to talk. She is the most street-savvy of the team.
Notable Weaknesses: She is hesitant to let people know how she truly feels, making her appear shallow sometimes, despite her intelligence. She has a short fuse when it comes to stereotypes of women or Vietnamese. She cannot see without her glasses. If attracted to a man or taken off-guard, she will quickly become awkward and revert to her native tongue of Vietnamese until she regains her focus. She still smokes.
Important Items: Her glasses, a picture of her mother, the wallet said picture is kept in, a keychain with the keys of her first car on them, a small purse, a lighter, record collection (not present).
Appearance: Having short black hair and wearing thick glasses with black frames, Le Hai is of medium build and height for a woman (American standards). She wears a red and yellow windbreaker jacket and jeans. Unfortunately for her patience, she is 'flat' enough that those expecting women to wear skirts may think she's simply a very flamboyant male wearing lipstick. She does not appreciate this in the slightest.
The closest look-alike would be someone between Velma from Scooby-Doo and Jubilee from X-Men, both of whom Sang has been compared to.
STAND PROFILE
Name: Story Of A Girl
Ability: Story of A Girl can manipulate the flow of free-moving or standing water, using it to cut or strike in torrents, or create weak barriers. Le Hai will only admit it to those she truly trusts, but Story is powered by Sang's anger and sadness, growing stronger as she or those she cares for are attacked, injured, offended, or otherwise mistreated. However, this comes at the cost of accuracy. Having a short range and only mediocre base power, Sang isn't very confident in her Stand's utility, and prefers to focus on her own skills as a person.
Type: Close-Range.
Power: B (15) (Defaults to D if Le Hai is not angry or sad)
Speed: B (15) (Defaults to D if Le Hai is not angry or sad)
Range: E (0) (Less than seven feet)
Durability: C (10) (Defaults to B if Le Hai is not angry or sad)
Precision: D (5) (Defaults to A if Le Hai is not angry or sad)
Learning: A (20)
Appearance: A woman seemingly made of blue crystal with crimson streaks like paint down from her eyes, which are solidly black marble. The crimson streaks seem to change position like a flow of tears.
