The fabled World War 1 part setting has been thrown around in chat for a long time now, and I think it's time we finally created it for a number of reasons.
- We need an outlet for users who want more action, a need that BMR is incapable of filling without upsetting the slice of life aspect that many of the other users enjoy.
- Many users have joined since BMR started, and find themselves lost in the progress and would like to start a fresh RP where they can join from the beginning.
- This setting is fucking badass.
The primary features of the setting: (will be updated as thread progresses)
- Vampires are a-okay!
- More of a focus on action and possibly political intrigue than slice of life!
- Lovecraftian horrors/abominations are fucking EVERYWHERE!
- Join a cult! Or kill cultists! Cult your heart out, kid!
Primary plot points: (will be updated as thread progresses)
- I think that the plot should focus on sudden appearances of abominations that terrorize the world during the beginning of World War I. People related to these abominations often developed some kind of psychic guardian that protects them from any sort of danger. The major governments found out about this and decided to find out more about these powers in order to gain the strength to win the war, but accidentally created even more abominations that feasted on the flesh of the men they sent. Abominations would be like Arrows, as in a few minutes of contact with them will cause a normal human to develop strange powers (Stands) - Resisbeststat
- We Built This City is the shared stand of three people of the Fulani tribe, one of Africa's major nomadic peoples. These three were living in German controlled Kamerun when the Allies attacked. Suddenly, these three stand user have up and disappeared, and no one know where. Now, a stand that let's them build a city with materials from the surrounding area doesn't sound too powerful, but think about it. The Allies were going to use them as a clean up crew after the war, that's mostly the reason they attacked Kamerun in the first place. But now their gone, and the Allies suspect Germany has something t do with it. On the other side of the war, Germany is furious that three stand users were taken from their colony, right under their noses. They have now started pointing fingers at France and Britain. But in the end, no one know where these three stand user have gone to. Or who, or what, could have taken them. - hellohello
