1962 - 2015 When he took the mantle of Hamer he was already dead. Such is the nature of Hamer34's stand, Can't Touch This. "My only dream is a world without memes."

We're still active, we often use the chatbox below, so a lot of threads can end up unused and seem dead.
There's three RPs set in the general span of 80's, 70's, and more specifically in 1917 for Planet Caravan, Bad Moon Rising, and The Last in Line respectively.
Most of us have packed it in for the night, though on weekends we often stay on much later, and I need to catch some shut eye too. I'll gladly answer any other questions tomorrow morning, you can leave them in this thread.

Hm, ok....I might choose the 80's one then since that's a bit closer to the year I was thinking.
So, uh, how do the stories go? Like, it is like Stardust, where a group travels together or do they differ from plot to plot?

Alright alright hopefully I can explain this properly: Each one is set up a bit differently, Last in Line (LiL) being the only one that forces protags together into a group and into action, and Bad Moon Rising is set up like part 4 where most of the story is in one town. Planet Caravan is focused on a more modern Steel Ball Run race, characters don't need to be racers, but either way if you want to set up a vehicle there's a special form for it. Everything else is entirely freeform, sometimes to a fault whoops and you can feel free to introduce your character in whatever way/role. Pretty much anyone who's on can help you out with details like location and situation. I'm pretty sure I'm going to remember more that you should know, I'll just add it in this thread later or tell you if you're in the chat. Oh, also, despite how complex your stand is everything seems to check out, barring maybe the Remix ability purely because it seems separate from the base electricity/soundwave thing. But otherwise I have no problem with you keeping everything, I like it, we'll see what others think.

Hah, yanno AFTER I made Real I went and scanned some other bios and realized yea, he had more abilities than the rest but most aren't even attacks or even defenses, just stuff he can do with soundwaves etc. I added Remix mainly because he didn't have any attacks besides Bassline and Y.S. and Y.S. is sort of like an Emerald Splash [meaning something he saves for the right moment] and Bassline isn't much of an attack even really, more of a way to stall or distract a foe. So, then his only 'attacks' are Y.S. and Remix [if used correctly!].
Also, glad to hear ya like my Stand and am anxious to hop in somewhere!

Yep yep I do like it. At first glance it seemed like you'd gone overboard, but like you said, everything needs to be used correctly. More often then not stands are left sort of vague so that they've got room to be expanded on in battle, but you've set yours up well. Learning, fyi, we consider either sort of 'malleability' or evolution potential, i.e. for using new tricks like Star Finger or giving the stand an act. So in a way you made yours perfectly, the learning is E but all of it's abilities are lined out already.

Awesome! And, small confession, but all my knowledge of jojo comes from the anime [2014] and the OVA's, so...I suspect I'll be confused lol here and there but if I need a pinch or something, feel free! I'm ok with that.

Nooooooooo problem, you're not the first case of that, we'll give you pushes in the right directions. Mind you we occasionally get a bit spoilery, but we've so far been okay at not talking spoilers around people who've only seen the anime.

Just be careful when Hello rambles about JoJoLion. That's the 8th part of JoJo if you don't know, it's good to be careful once he's around....

That's actually a very good point HelloHello rambles a lot about spoiler-heavy part 8 theories. Beware.

lol that's s'ok, I'm a big boy, I can handle some spoilers; in fact, they let ya decide early on if you wanna invest the emotional energy in a series or episode.
So... I'm jonsing for my guy to meet a few other Stand users, maybe even -gasp- embark on a Stardustish journey of some sort!
